Folding mechanism for a bed integrated into a wardrobe. The mechanism includes highly robust springs (9 pieces) that slow down the bed opening and assist in lifting it during closing. The total weight of the frame, including the mattress, should not exceed 60kg. Despite its sturdy construction, the lifter cannot support a double bed wider than 120cm. The screws used for installing the mechanism should be as heavy-duty as possible, preferably with a diameter of 6mm. The sides of the lifting frame where the mechanism is attached should be reinforced due to the forces it is subjected to. The package includes a left and right lifter for one bed. For lighter bed frames, some springs from the mechanism can be removed to facilitate bed folding. For the construction of the supporting folding leg, we recommend using butt hinges from the NC05 series and gas springs from the NV22 series with a maximum force of 30N. However, the exact construction method of the system is up to the user. We do not provide precise instructions for building a folding bed.
